Tie-Dye Care Instructions
Thank you for supporting Element & Thread! Each tie-dye item is hand-dyed, making every piece one of a kind.
For the Best Results:
Wash before first wear.
Turn garment inside out before washing.
Machine wash cold with like colors.
Use a mild detergent.
Avoid bleach or harsh stain removers.
Tumble dry low or hang to dry for the longest-lasting color.
Do not iron directly on the design.
A Few Things to Know
Slight color variation is normal and part of the handmade process.
During the first wash or two, a small amount of excess dye may rinse out. Washing with similar colors is recommended.
With proper care, your tie-dye will stay vibrant for years to come.

This flower is made of borosilicate glass and features glitter like dichroic glass that will never fade or flake. It comes with a handmade jade white glass vase and decorative rocks for positioning.
This lovely flower was lampworked by hand in Kentucky by myself - Kress Glass and the vase by my partner Clydedyes Glass. Sizing, colors, and weight vary slightly due to natural creation.

Production time for custom requests is typically 2–3 weeks after the design and pricing have been approved. Glass or Rugs can take longer depending on complexity. Actual times vary.

Every custom begins with a design consultation. During this session, we'll discuss your ideas, review inspiration, determine sizing, and create a plan for your piece. Because every piece is unique, pricing is based on size, design complexity, and materials. We'll provide a personalized quote after we've discussed your project.

This Design Consultation Fee covers the time spent scheduling, consulting, and creating your initial design concept. The fee is non-refundable. If you move forward with your custom rug order, 100% of this fee will be applied as a credit toward your final purchase price, appearing as a discount on your custom order.
